I'm teaching a workshop that gets you off Pinterest!
SEPTEMBER 24TH, 2026

Hello Popular people!
I'm teaching a workshop inside the offices of DFOS in downtown NYC.
Now more than ever, we have to choose to be offline, especially when we're looking for inspiration, gathering references, and doing research for our creative work.
I'm here to teach, to give you time and space, and to introduce you to new friends to work alongside. We'll work in the name of pleasure, discovering new ideas together as we write, research, and make our own studio books.
Develop a visual research practice you’ll use for years.
A four-week, in-person NYC workshop for creative professionals who want to turn scattered screenshots, bookmarks, and Pinterest boards into a working Studio Book: a physical archive that gives your projects direction.
You’ll write a research brief (for your eyes only), learn how to find references beyond the algorithm, spend an afternoon in Library 180’s magazine archive, and leave with a finished book—and a method to return to whenever you need a new point of view.
Oct. 22–Nov. 12 · Downtown NYC · 20 people · Early bird: $850 through Oct. 8 · $950 after
Includes a private Library 180 tour, small-group feedback, a 1:1 office-hours session, and one year of Popular, a crew of like-minded new friends.
Your taste is changing. Your process is evolving.
Your studio book keeps you caught up with yourself.

Hope to see you there!
